The minimum age for registration in the
college is 18 years. |
|
Whilst on college premises, students are obliged to
follow rules and regulations in force. Disruptive behaviour
or misconduct can lead to expulsion. |
|
Computer use is covered by the (ST JOSEPH) Terms and
Conditions of Computer and Internet usage. |
|
For Applicants whose native language is not English,
the college sets a minimum English Language Proficiency
level of 6.0 in the British Council's IEL TS test, 213
in the computer-based American TOEFL test (or 550 in the
paper-based test). Otherwise student have to attend English
Language Course in ST JOSEPH COLLEGE or have to provide
documentary evidence to support that instruction in your
last degree achieved has been English. |

ST JOSEPH COLLEGE reserves the right to change the
time of the courses. |
|
It is the student's own responsibility to ensure that
examination entries are in order and are sent off to the
appropriate examining bodies by the appropriate closing
dates. |
|
Fees must be fully paid to date to allow a student
to sit for any examination. |
|
Overseas students must be complying with the Immigration/Home
office regulations, especially regarding attendance. Students
are required to maintain at least 80% attendance throughout
the duration of their course. Holders of the student visa
are advised that the college is obliged to apply HOME
OFFICE rules and insist that the full-time course is of
a minimum of 15 hours of day time study per week is followed.
N.B. Failure to attend 4 consecutive
weeks (without notice) will result in dismissal from the
college. |

We are required by the HOME OFFICE to record your attendance
and supply any and all details when requested. |
|
|
St. Joseph college reserves the right to refuse admission
to any student. |
|
We also reserve the right to suspend or dismiss any
student without refund of fees in the event of serious
misconduct or unsatisfactory attendance/progress.
N.B. failure to appear at the agreed
starting date without notice will mean forfeiture of fees
and the HOME OFFICE will be notified
|

A registration fee of £ 150 is required before
a student will be issued with an offer of place. (The
registration fee is non refundable). This document is
required to obtain your Embassy interview. If you gain
an interview you will be required to take a confirmation
of place document, this document confirms your course
payment. Course payment (full or part) must be received
before this document is issued.
N.B. If you fail to obtain your visa
the full course payment will be refunded less registration
fee. Refund is granted in writing only; a refund form
needs to be submitted along with relevant documents to

In the event of cancellation, for whatever
reason except visa refusal, the following deduction policy
will apply:
Before start date of course NIL
Within 0-1 week after start date 10% of course fees
Between 1-2 weeks 50% of course fees
Between 2-3 weeks 70% of course fees
Greater than 3 weeks 90%of course fees |

Transfer of fees to another student will be solely at
the discretion of the Directors. Minimum of £300
transfer fee will apply. |
|
Where a student has obtained a student visa using our
college documentation and then decides not to follow his/her
course at this college once they arrived in the U.K.,
there will be no refund whatsoever. |
|
If, for any reason a course is cancelled, students will
be offered an alternative course, or refund in fees. |
|
If a student changes their course of study during the
term, no refund will be given where the revised course
involves fewer subjects. |
|
The college prospectus is correct at the time of printing
but it is subject to alteration. |
